When it comes to real estate Jaime truly takes the "From Click to Close" approach with his clients. Being in a world driven by information has its advantages, especially in the dynamic real estate market of today. Endless amounts of information can be called up on countless properties almost instantly. With the help of the internet you can "Click" on any property, with the help of a dedicated REALTOR like Jaime you can "Close" on the right property for you.

Originally from South Texas, Jaime moved to College Station in 1997 to attend Texas A&M. Transitioning from the small coastal bend town of Rockport, about 45 minutes north of Corpus Christi, to the "big city" of Bryan College Station was not as difficult as he remembers apprehensively thinking it might be. "Bryan College Station is enormous compared to where I was born and raised, yet it manages somehow to maintain a small town feel. The friendly atmosphere of the community is filled with a sense of tradition which is heavily influenced by the University, but the experience of living here even after I finished Texas A&M has been outstanding" says Jaime.

While attending school full time and working several different part time jobs associated with his field of study to pay for college, he was lucky enough to be employed by a few dedicated small business owners that he says helped mold his professional character. They influenced him heavily and passed to him a wealth of business as well as personal knowledge. Ultimately his senior year of college, Jaime was fortunate to have the opportunity to start his own business and partnered with a long time friend and fellow Aggie to start their first company. Since then he has participated in several other start-ups including an online Ad company as well as an investment property partnership.

When asked to define his professional goals Jaime says "I have to enjoy what I am doing, if I don't then there is no point for me to continue doing it. No amount of compensation or recognition will ever be enough for me to do something that I don't enjoy. Of course there may always be little things that you don't want to do, but I always focus on the end result and do them anyway, it's what drives me. When you can get up excited every day about what you are going to do that day and when you get to try something new and meet someone new every day…..those are blessed days. So I guess my professional goals are simple, to have as many of those excellent days as I can."

On the personal side Jaime has no problem discussing a few of his passions like surfing, sailing, and fishing. His grandfather was in the charter boat fishing business for over 30 years and Jaime became a deckhand for him at the age of twelve, spending many a day during the long hot South Texas summers honing his deck swabbing and "fish story" telling skills. When speaking about his professional versus personal life, Jaime is quick to say, "The most important thing I have learned in business is when to take time off. I am more useful to myself and my clients when I take the occasional break to refocus. Now, my idea of time off may be a little out of the ordinary to some…. I don't do sitting on the beach. I like high speed low drag, when I feel like I need a vacation from my vacation that's when mission accomplished." Surfing is a hobby he picked up from his dad and he has surfed in places as extreme as Costa Rica and Hawaii. Jaime also enjoys the challenges experienced in sailing, from single handed small lake and bay racers to large off shore cruisers in places like the Bahamas. "And of course being the unbelievably lucky man that I am, I have a wife who is as confused about the definition of vacationing as I am", Jaime notes.
