Why Use a REALTORŪ?
Home Sellers that are serious about getting the most for their home realize they need the expertise of a REALTORŪ in pricing their home, attracting buyers, arranging open houses,
marketing the property and coordinating with inspectors, appraisers, mortgage brokers, escrow officers and other professionals.
The process of selling your home can be complicated, but your REALTORŪ is there to make your life easier. They know the market,
understand local conditions and are trained on the legal and disclosure requirements that come with selling a house.
Not all real estate agents are REALTORSŪ - so be sure to ask your agent. REALTORSŪ are members of the National Association of
REALTORSŪ and subscribe to a strict Code of Ethics. They have mandatory training and are considered the best of the real estate
profession.
REALTORSŪ are Experts
Real estate transactions involve one of the biggest financial decisions you will likely make in your lifetime. According to
NAR's 2005 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers, nine out of 10 home buyers use a real estate agent - and the home price for
sellers who use a REALTORŪ is 16% higher than for those who don't.
The REALTORŪ Commitment
The personal and professional commitment of the REALTORŪ is to ensure that a seller and buyer are brought together in an agreement that
provides each with a "win" that is fair and equitable. We are a full service brokerage and we receive no compensation unless and until the sale closes.
We are not in the business of providing "limited services" in exhange for up-front fees. We believe that "you get what you pay for", we
provide excellent service, work hard, and strive to bring together successful transactions.
The Role of Your REALTORŪ
Many questions sometimes arise about the REALTORSŪ sales commission. Many homeowners and homebuyers are not aware of the true
value a REALTORŪ provides during the course of a real estate transaction. We have studied, tested, and continue to add to this list
of over 200 typical actions, research steps, procedures and review stages in each successful residential real estate
transaction we manage. This list is not the limit of our services, merely a basic foundation. Some procedures may take minutes, hours, or even days to complete,
while some may not be needed.
More important this list is used to reflect the level of skill, knowledge and attention to detail required in today's real estate transactions,
underscoring the importance of having help and guidance from someone who fully understands the process - a REALTORŪ.
